Lauren is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Portland, Maine. After living Los Angeles and working in the animation industry for nearly a decade, she returned to New England in 2020. In July 2023, she began her tattoo apprenticeship at Fortune Teller here in Portland.

With her art, Lauren strives to strike a balance between calculated design and spontaneous mark-making. She loves all things gritty and scribbly and bold spot blacks. Tattooing has proven to be the perfect counterbalance to her career in animation, and she continues to work in both fields.
